I miss her
I am not boring! is the 239th chapter of Miki Yoshikawa's Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo.
Young Urara begins narrating her life. Since childhood, all that was on her mind was studying. Her relentless talent at schoolwork had made her one of the smartest kids during middle and high school. One day, she is called to the Student Council's office by Amamiya, who tries to recruit her to join the witches. Even with an offer that a wish of her choice could come true, wasn't enough, as she simply wasn't interested in any social interaction. As she leaves, Amamiya makes a remark that Urara is the "original witch".
Urara reads a book on the school rooftop, until Ryu Yamada barges in complaining again about how he pissed someone off. Wanting some friends, he spots Urara look at him and asks her what she was looking at. She replies "nothing" and comments that she wasn't interested in what Ryu was doing. Ryu complains about how everyone is so focused on studying, and that they need more social freedom, especially when they all go to the same school. Ryu leaves, commenting that Urara is boring. That night, Urara lied in bed, thinking about Ryu's words.
As Ryu was hanging out with Ushio, they spot Urara hiding behind a nearby tree. Annoyed, Ryu approaches her and tells her they can't be friends since they're so different. Urara shouts that she wasn't boring and runs off, before realizing her romantic interest in Ryu. She returns to Amamiya and accepts the offer to join the witches. Her wish: to be with Ryu.
